Villager with different villager's house exterior?

Sorry for the weird-looking title.
But I adopted Raymond through the campsite! He offered to kick out Sprinkle, so I said alright. When he moved in, he had the exact same house exterior as Sprinkle. I thought it was kinda weird, but maybe they did have the exact same exterior. It's been a while, and I've paid no mind to it.
I just found a picture of his house exterior.. and It's quite a bit different than Sprinkle's. I'm not bothered by this at all, but uh. Why'd this happen?

Did you time travel? That seems to be the cause of this happening when you force a villager out via the campsite.

Ah, yeah, I did time travel... dunno how I didn't hear about this glitch...

I had this glitch. It occurs if you TT 2 days ahead or when you TT backwards because you skip the process where the leaving villager's house must completely become an empty plot before the new villager moves in.

To prevent this from happening, you must only TT one day forward at a time when someone new is moving in.

i had it happen when moving julian into skye's plot - it seems to happen if you skip the day where the plot is "empty". though, from what i've seen, sprinkle's house is kinda cute and these are my two cents but raymond's exterior is ugly anyway.

oh, yeah, I don't mind one bit! sprinkle's exterior is pretty cute. I was just a little surprised to realize lolol
