Villager Trading?

Okay, so I saw this thread, and, well, how does one sell a villager? I assume they have to be moving, and then... then what?

When the villager is in boxes someone comes to your town and follows you to said villagers house. They speak to the villager and convince them to move into their town. Then you accept payment.

It's actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it
