Does it go like this?

1. You go to other person's town.
2. Talk to their villager in boxes.
3. Go home to your town.
4. Let them ino your town.
5. They tal to your villager in boxes.

The next day, you will have swapped, correct?

Someone is going to need nine villagers including the one being adopted, because if you go adopt the villager while your's is still in boxes, they won't be in your town yet. If they have ten, your partner won't be able to adopt the the villager since his town is still full. You could work around this with TTing, though.

So basically, both of you have to have 9 villagers. If you go ot the other person's town and pickup their villager, yours will still be in boxes. However, when they come and pickup your villager, where the villager's house would be it says, "Moved out." If both TTed to the next day, then the old villager would be gone, and the new villagers plot will be there, right?

After you adopt a villager and leave town, the villager's house will say "moved out". When you've done this, have only the person who needs to pick up their villager TT to the next day, and then visit your town as now they should no longer have the house of their former villager, so they can get their new one. The person who picks up their villager first can not TT. This is what I think is right, anyway. I've never did this. ^.^' I don't see why it wouldn't work, though.
