villager tier/popularity change you noticed

I just looked through the threads and Cherry is definitely tier 2 at this point, Fuchsia is very low tier 2 high tier 3 I see great amounts of her

I agree with all of this! I also think Raymond should be above Marshal in a tier of his own, and I’m baffled Sprinkle is only tier 4. I thought she was a solid 3.

I also think Dobie will go up, I’ve seen lots of people looking for him. I can also see Fuchsia climbing, as they finally fixed her model and she seems to be more popular.

also i think ankha is still as popular as ever, so she should be moved to tier 1.

im wondering the villagers that are constantly being auctioned off here (all the octopi, fauna, diana) should be moved down a tier? this is with the exception of raymond and audie but i also see either marina, zucker, and fauna being sold here like every other day.

I believe her nose was weird, like if you compared them to the other deers, Fuchsia, Deirdre and Beau had weird-shaped snouts in New Leaf. It's fixed now though!

I think its a little tough because demand =/= overall popularity, so the question becomes "how are these being ranked"?

Because new characters without amiibo have the least supply vs a high demand, but characters that are more fandom-beloved are more readily available since a lot of people have those amiibo cards. Raymond is probably chart-topping either way at this point, though.

diana is still sought after though and hard to come by even on the islands, knowing as she's a snooty as well. meanwhile a lot of people have acquired fauna & marina from the earlier island visits or the "3" villagers

Coco for sure has risen in popularity along with Zucker. Marina needs to lower, I actually had to void her once. I know she's super popular or frequent on island visits, according to many people. It is hard to determine cause demand =/= popularity, but idk. Not a whole tier. But I do believe some villagers are more popular than her. I have also seen tons of Cherry seekers lately.

I agree with many people that Raymond definitely needs his own tier (as I said before) and is above Marshal by far.

I'm not for sure because I'm out of the loop on this stuff but Pietro feels a bit less popular to me?? He wasnt exactly the most popular, but he still had quite a lot of people that like him, and I think with the new wave of players a lot of them dont seem too fond of him for obvious reasons sgjsfsjg not that I blame them of course, but I personally love Pietro

Some of it also has to do with the fact that they changed from scarves to shirts. Some people complained about how they looked in them thinking it made them shaped weirdly, I know it won't turn everyone away (it wouldn't for me if I really liked them enough) but there are some.

Ah yeah that too!! I completely forgot about that because I havent had a sheep villager on my island yet. I guess for a lot of the sheep villagers already on the fence it could knock them down a notch, but I've havent seen too much of what people are saying on it so I'm not sure :O itd be really interesting if any are affected like that

I feel Stitches has got to have dropped in popularity.
He was token lazy with Beau in NL yet I haven't seen him around as much.

Beau is still going strong though.

Also Muffy, while never extremely popular feels even more unpopular now with the sheep redesign.​

I think Ankha and Lucky are definitely higher than reflected in the tier list -- at least high tier two, if not low tier one. Dobie definitely goes for a pretty penny as well, from what I've seen.
