villager tier/popularity change you noticed

i feel like for the first time ever, all the octopi villagers will all be -1 tier down if the tier lists gets updated since like 80% of players have them lol

marina (tier 1 to 2 - don't buy her for 40 tickets, just go to the islands and you'll meet her or 1 of the octopi within 20 visits!)
molly (tier 1 to 2 - she's barely auctioned anymore i feel like?)
phoebe (tier 2 to 3 - uchi's are a starting villager now & i feel like she stopped being the "token" uchi lmao)
vesta (tier 2 to 3)
bluebear (what tier is she now and what happened to her popularity )
whitney slowly becoming tier 2 but i wouldn't say that yet

sherb (tier 2 to 1)
bob (tier 2 to 1 - he's kind of a meme at this point)
flurry (shouldn't she be tier 2 not 3?)
kid cat (tier 2 now tbh)

not sure about punchy, but his popularity grew so much over the years, he wasn't this sought after before! and i'm kinda bias but i'm not sure i want him to be tier 1 anyway

I agree with all of this! I also think Raymond should be above Marshal in a tier of his own, and I’m baffled Sprinkle is only tier 4. I thought she was a solid 3.

I also think Dobie will go up, I’ve seen lots of people looking for him. I can also see Fuchsia climbing, as they finally fixed her model and she seems to be more popular.

This is so true, I was island hopping and I found Marina three times and Octavian twice in 60-70 visits, and the only reason I didn’t see Zucker is because I already had him :’)

I do feel like Raymond ranks above Marshal at this point. And speaking of Zucker, why is he only tier 3? I feel like he should be tier 2, or am I just biased lol

yes i agree with this as well. no one would trade marshal for 1000 nmts lol. i kept seeing dobie on villager trading section now which is refreshing! also agree with fuchsia as people are very picky with uchi villagers.

I agree as someone who used to dislike Fuschia because her coloring just didn't suit my tastes but she was one of my starting island villagers for this game and she is basically my best friend at the moment. She's really a darling and looks great in this game!

I definitely don’t think Carmen is a tier 5 villager. Maybe mid-low 3 or high 4. I see her pop up a lot more than other tier 5’s.

Fuchsia, Dobie, Coco, and even Bill all seem to get a lot more love in this game as well.

Lots of villagers need replacing, everyone should know that Raymond is absolutely above Marshal for the number 1 spot.
I actually disagree with ALL the octopi, Zucker should be high tier 2 because he's always snatched up pretty quickly when he is sold which is important.
Sprinkle, Fuchsia, and a few others all need to rise at least a tier and I think Cherry should be low tier 2 as well
I really want to update the list because im always of the forums and I have a very solid idea on how the tiers should look

raymond surpassed all other villagers in popularity and it's ridiculous.

i also feel like coco & dobie ended up getting more love than they initially did.
also sherb will most likely go up to tier 1, whereas fauna will probably drop in popularity - same as julian.

Also to determine the exact placement is difficult however I can say that if I had a tier list, a few villagers like Cherry and Fuchsia would actually be lower tier 2, with Tia as well being low tier 2. Sprinkle would be a solid tier 3 maybe a high tier 3 since she is pretty popular.

I agree with coco, I absolutely think she should be low tier 1 because I often see her in lots of dreamy lists and she is sold for very high amounts. I also would like to mention that Ankha is tier 2 in the list which she is a tier 1, she is sold for high amounts and is very sought after (and no I'm not biased lol)

Also Apollo would get a rise, he's a high tier 3 because he's pretty sought after as well
