Villager through spot pass - how to avoid?

I picked up Kitty through spot pass from my daughter's village. I reset 10 times and her plot just keeps moving spots. I went and tt'd back to the previous morning, so her plot isn't there anymore. I have room in my town, but I'm keeping it open for a dreamie that I have in my cycling town. I have to wait until Marshal is won from the cycling town raffle so now I'll have two towns I'm resetting. I've no problem doing so until the raffle is over - that's not an issue - but will kitty be waiting to move in afterwards?

If I get another villager to move in does it cancel my daughter's hitch-hiker? Or is it going to be until my town is filled.

I'd stay on the current date till you can move a different villager in. It'll cancel Kitty out so long as her plot isn't there like you said.


The only way to avoid spotpass move-ins is to not have both your wifi switches on while you have a space free.

Oh thank heavens.... I thought I'd have to keep resetting after clay moves in until I got the next villager and my town was full again. I want to play on the game, not keep resetting, and it's an unfortunate side-effect of holding onto a villager for her. Kitty was her previous, or her last move out so could not be avoided when she came to pick up hopper.
