Villager that you thought would be popular, but really isn't.

I honestly think that pudge and celia are cute but they are on the bottom tier

I think Celia is one of the cutest villagers and I never see anyone with her in their town. It really surprised me she's so low on the tiers.

I'm surprised no one likes Merry! I wanted a peppy cat in my town and it was between Rosie and Merry. I thought Merry was cuter so I went with her, but it was a close call. When I joined the site and saw Rosie was T1 and Merry was T4 that made no sense to me - they're pretty much equal appearance-wise to me, but I like Merry's colour scheme better.

Edit: Also all the T5s in my town (Dizzy, Lionel, Purrl, Melba) I think they're all awesome obviously.

I want Merry ^.^; if I had to choose between her and Felicity though, that'd be tough because I think they're both equally cute.

I'm surprised about Punchy. I thought he was popular even though he's in tier 2, from seeing all the comments in the forums about him. Then again, I don't browse the trading forums much.

I'm surprised only some unique characters are popular. I would think that characters like Flora, Tucker, Leonardo, and Anabelle would be more popular since they're not like the others of their species.

I was surprised that villager popularity existed altogether tbh. The first time I attempted selling a villager (Vladmir, on a different website) somebody told me he was to be sold for free! I was surprised that Jacques, Teddy, Savannah, Big Top, and Chadder aren't that high up in the popularity list.

Odd, I got the same impression that Punchy was ridiculously popular. Maybe it was only for a week a while back but it looked like EVERYONE wanted him D8

It surprised me that Puddles and Celia are so low. Celia is so pretty and sweet and has a nice house, and Puddles is just flat out adorable. I really thought they'd both be a lot more popular than they are, especially Puddles.

I love Puddles and I was at first surprised she was so low (I'm not sure why I was surprised; I guess I kind of thought that there would be a decent amount of frog fans out there) ~ when I found out there was a popularity ranking tier thing here. At the same time, there are a lot of cute peppy villagers and cuter ones. I'm just lucky she was in my town at the very beginning; I didn't think I'd like her at first (though she was the first one that I got attached to, surprisingly) because I generally don't think frogs are cute.

Melba, Flora, Roscoe, Savannah, and Bones are all villagers that aren't as popular as I would have guessed. Apple and Shep, too...I would be glad to have any of them in my town!
(I do have Roscoe, Apple, and Shep in my town of Goblin, but I don't have the others.)

Cube and Punchy. No doubt, two of the best villagers I've had and I honestly thought that they were more popular than what the tier list tells. But hey, I think it might be better that way, easier for me to get 'em in my town

I honestly thought Peanut was a lot more popular, but she's not in the top two tiers. I really like her and wish she was more popular. Her and Savannah, I thought Savannah would be more popular, but I'm pretty sure she's somewhere in the bottom two tiers.

When Nana first showed up in my town I thought she would be popular. Turns out she's not. The super pretty pink house exterior, her pink monkey cuteness, and her sweet normal personality. Apparently not though.
