Villager suggestions?

The second town I'm getting soon (Bespin belongs to my brother) needs some villager help. The town, another planet, will be Popstar and based on dreams. Villagers should be fantastical and/or brightly-colored. I would like only one of a species but two wouldn't be terrible.

Current picks:

Julian, obvs I need a unicorn
Pietro, colorful clown sheep and one of my favorites
Skye, cloudy appearance can be associated with dreams
Mira, an actual magical girl
Flora, cute flamingo I've always wanted
Static, adorable lightning squirrel and my favorite cranky after Octavian

Undecided:

Stitches vs Bob (Lazy)
Stitches is my faaaavorite villager but I already have him in Kamino. Yet he fits the theme perfectly as an adorable living teddy bear. Bob the cool purple cat is a villager I always wanted to have.

Ribbot vs Sterling vs Kid Cat (Jock)
Ribbot's already in Bespin but he also fits the theme really well as a robot frog. Sterling does too as a knight while Kid Cat is a superhero. (Although Kid Cat looks awkward without the rest of his cohorts.)

Maelle vs Naomi (Snooty)
Maelle is a longtime favorite but Naomi has a really nice design which may fit the color theme better.

Sprinkle/Cube vs Marina vs Merengue/Tia vs Lolly (Tenth Villager)
As a loosely Kirby themed town maybe I need a penguin villager. Maybe lol.
Marina as a bright pink octopus (another favorite) fits the theme but I already have her. Tia and Merengue are both cute but I don't know if I would keep them. Lolly is a favorite I let go from Kamino but I don't think she fits the town theme very well.

Any suggestions are appreciated. I don't care about tiers just cute villagers. Thanks~

Personally, I would go with Stitches, Kid Cat, Naomi, and Sprinkle.

I don't really think Kid Cat looks too bad without the rest of his crew. Plus, it could be that he's gotten stranded on a strange new world, without his friends to help him!

If it really does just seem too weird to you, I'd say go with Ribbot.
