Hamlet is currently sick, still has the little purple swirlies floating around and everything, but he isn't telling me he's sick so I can't give him medicine.
This can't have to do with it being Shamrock Day because I've had sick villagers on holidays before and this has never happened.
I've had this happen too... Is he inside? If he is then he's sick, but won't show the symptoms until tomorrow. At least, that's what happened to me last time. I wouldn't worry about it.
thats so weird, the same thing is happening to me with kidd! I don't know if he was sick yesterday, but he's definitely sick now and I just tried to give him medicine but couldn't. I've never seen this happen before :<
I've never had that happen before. I'm assuming you already have the medicine in your pockets? If you don't then that could be why. Otherwise, that is definitely an odd glitch. D:
I think maybe if you don't give them medicine on the first day they're sick they won't take it at all? even if you gave it to them the first day too, they might just not take medicine after the first day?? idk
Today was the first day that Paula was sick, but I couldn't give her medicine. She just talked about St Patrick's Day instead of the usual "I'm sick" dialog, so there was no prompt to give her the medicine I had in my pocket. I talked to her 3 or 4 times, then gave up for today.
What I've noticed is that sometimes villagers will be super sick (with the purple swirls and head down), then after giving them medicine for a day or so they get better, they are still sick as they are at home but they don't have the swirls and will only sometimes take medicine. I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about. But yeah, I've noticed that.
okay, now fauna is sick in my second town too and i can't give her medicine either! ;; this must have something to do with shamrock day, even though i don't understand why.

Yeah I think so. Even though the two aren't related, someone was having issues with getting pings from villagers moving, and I was as well. So I think shamrock day is just overall really glitched for some people. idk D:
Not a glitch, villagers just won't display their sick dialogue on holidays/special days. Felicity got sick yesterday on Shamrock day too and I just had to wait a day to give her medicine. A lot like how villagers won't ping you during holidays/special days too.
