Villager Reset Trick

Hey guys!

I'm doing the villager reset trick to get Fang's house in a particular spot that I've prepared for him.
So right now I'm doing the trick and everything works fine (except he doesn't wanna move in his damn spot).

But I'm a little worried because in my game it's 01:40am. And I believe a new day starts at 6am.
So if Fang hasn't moved into that particular spot by 6am, does that mean that his house is gonna be locked in some other random place? And then I can't do the reset trick anymore because it's the new day?

I've tried choosing an earlier time in my 3DS settings but it'll stay dark in my AC game regardless. I'm a little worried Fang is not gonna move into that spot until 6am. xD (Also I'd like to have daylight rather than night time because I can barely see anything x__x)

Can I go into my mayor's file, tell Isabelle it's 2pm, start the game, quit (without saving) and still continue the villager reset trick? Or does anything bad happen when I go into my mayor's file?

You can still do the reset trick. Just don't load your mayor until you have found a spot that you like.

Are you sure? Even if a new day begins at 6am?

no. you have to set back the 3ds time to today and then you can coninue. do NOT go on tomorrow with your mayor, he will have placed his house. if you have entered the new day on a new chracter exit without saving and change the 3ds time to the day he was plotting. that should work

The date on my 3DS is the 16th September.
So you mean I have to change it back to 14th September?

To be honest I'm a little too scared this won't work and he'll have plotted his house somewhere. xD I think I'll just hope leahhhh knows this for sure ;_;

well i've never tried changing the 3ds date but if another day starts you will not be able to keep plot resetting, just so you know.

Anyway, you can just continue plot resetting forever just if you don't load up your mayor. I always did it to my 10 dreamies. ;-; I miss that time
