Villager reset trick - need help

I recently asked a villager from someone else town to move into mine and they agreed! I have my town layout so there's certain places I don't want a house plot, Iv read the creating a new character trick but my question is


If I reset because I don't like where the plot is, the next time I create a character will it still be the same villager that I asked to move into my town?? Thank you

Yes it will be the same villager. You've already asked so your game will only generate a plot for the villager you asked. If you didn't ask a villager from another town or campsite or get them from streetpass, then it would be a random villager.
