Villager reset trick help.

So I am TTing for my Dream villagers, and when a new villager is due to move in I am doing the Reset trick.

But it seems to be only giving me a handful of villagers, over and over.

My question is, is it set to only give you a certain amount of villagers each time you are trying to move someone in.

What I mean by that is, will it just randomly choose from about 5 villagers that are available, then you have to move someone in, and someone out again to be given another lot of possible villagers?

I hope this makes sense :/

Guess I should save when no plot appears and TT to the next day :/

The game is more likely to select villagers who have personalities that you're missing. If you're looking for someone who has the same personality as a villager you already have, it's going to be a lot more work.

Each day, you're also likely to get a selection of villagers from those missing personalities, so even then, you're not guaranteed the villager you want even if you don't have their personality.

Hmm, yes that probably is it, All of the villagers that were appearing where Peppy, I don't have any of those in my town.
I'll go to the next day anyway because I know you can get a certain personality even if you already have one, I got Phoebe yesterday and I already had Muffy in my town.

Hopefully I will have better luck on a different day.

Does anyone know exactly how many possibilities there are per day?
So I can keep track of who is in that list for the day and how many more possibilities for that day I have still to get before moving onto the next day?

Personally, when I was resetting for Zucker, the lazy octopus, I went through over 25 villagers over the course of 3 hours I think resetting nonstop until I got him. All lazy villagers, and some repeated around ~2 times. It really is random and sometimes on some days I too would be stuck in a rotation of around 5-10 villagers then I would TT so I'm convinced it is random with a set list but with a small percentage that other villager's plots of the same personality will also show up out of the normal set list! Hope that helped, sort of LOL

I'm keeping tabs on what villagers are appearing, and it looks like I am getting another bunch of peppy today, which is cool because I still need Peanut, but she aint showing yet -_-

If you think you can work around her house, go for it but if it's really really bad, try again.

Yeah, i'm trying to think of a way to sort the landscaping around her plot but it's not happening :/
