Villager randomly moving out??? HELP.

I actually was able to invite her twice, now that you mention it!

And with amiibos, the cycle is almost the same. They kicked villager is in boxes the same day and next day, the plot says it was sold to the amiibo and they move in the following day.

10th: ...
11th?: Spinkle amiibo 1st invite
12th: Sprinkle amiibo 2nd invite
13th: Sprinkle amiibo 3rd invite and boots another villager

That is a fairly new glitch that happened to me when I tried to adopt Tia however the person who I was buying her from turned the game off so I didn't get Tia to move in and nothing happened

This is really terrifying.
I thought the glitch could only happen when the villager was not properly unboxed (I even made a post about it on here last night).
Also, the fact that she's not even your latest villager makes it even more worrisome.
The only villager I adopted from someone is Zucker (my ultimate dreamie) and I'm terrified of losing him.
I also TT'd one day forward to adopt him (had to void one of my starters, sadly) but am too scared to TT back to current day (I'm only ahead one day in-game but wanted to keep the game in-sync with real time).

Oh ok. Yeah generally being able to invite twice is a sign of a villager with a glitch (it’s like they exist in town and in the void at once) but it’s unclear if everyone who can invite them twice necessarily ends up with the “I’ve moved out” bug! Some say they are fine.

I went to her house on the others island and invited her. Then I went out and back in, to confirm she was going to move. Then she acted as if I hadn't already invited her and I did it again.

Oh, I haven't even tested that with Zucker. Though I believe I chatted with him 3 times when inviting him and after he agreed to move in, he just mentioned he would start packing and see me soon or something along those lines.

But I never exited his house to actually check if there was an option to invite him a second-time around.

I now used my Fang amiibo to try and kick Audie out. Did the TT to go through three days and invite him. TT to the day Audies house is supposed to be gone... It's still there, but the sign now says "I'm not here! - Fang" .... I TT to the next day and now Fang is indeed on my map and has moved in, but it's still Audie' house.... Has Fang been glitched now???

Is that right? Do you recall if you started to scan Sprinkle the day you invited Audie?

It seems you may have opened a plot on your island within 3 days of getting a glitched void Audie.

This might be important cuz from what I’ve read, the voided villagers you pick up can still try to move in 3 days after you encounter them if a plot opens.

Do you remember if you visited or were visited by anyone in between when you invited Audie and when Sprinkle was unboxing? Sorry I know that’s hard to recall so far back.

Glitched-ish I supposed? In the thread I mentioned people have the same problem, but the only thing affected seems to be the house exterior.

Here is the solution that works on new glitched houses: LINKY

Here is the solution from the old glitch when one villager moves into another villager's house:

- At this point Wolfgang will now move to your island and occupy the BUGGED plot, however his house will look like APOLLO'S house

- In addition to this another house will appear in your town this one looking like WOLFGANG'S house. You won't be able to enter the house and upon trying, you will be told that WOLFGANG is out

- Now you need to get WOLFGANG (i.e the newest villager) to move out. This can be done with time travel quicker and do not worry, villagers will not move out without you being told by them themselves. Forcing them out via campgrounds is risk as there's a chance it may cause even more problems.

- You will need to check that he is going to move out by visiting him, he will either ping you with a "!" and run towards you or will have a bubble above his head and a sad expression.

- Upon WOLFGANG moving out both houses will disappear leaving 2 empty plots. Again, this does not work 100% but is a known way to fix this if it happens to you.

I'm unsure as I'm not experiencing the glitch myself, but I would expect it to work (though with everything going on... We know nothing for certain lol)

The glitch you're referring to is when a villager seems to have moved out but not really, but I don't think that's the case here? The "I'm not here" dialogue is just what it shows when they're not at home. If I understand correctly, the problem now is that Fang has Audie's house exterior

What Setsu is reporting now to have happened sounds exactly like what happens when people tried to fix the old glitch by inviting someone. They move into the glitched house and they're around on the island but the plot is still glitched.
