Villager plot??

I have been searching online for this answer for an hour now, but i haven't quite found the answer to my problem

I had a villager in boxes and i went ahead and talked to a villager from my friend's town to move in my town. I have been plot resetting for a while now and his plot is nowhere to be found!
I even tried going back to the date i had a villager in boxes and tt'd forward. Nothing works
anyone got an idea on how to make his plot show up? (ignore my english errors, english is too hard lol)

sometimes it takes two days for them to plot. try TT'ing to the next day and see if it shows up then ​

I have time traveled days and weeks now lol i guess i'll keep trying because i'm 100% sure he accepted to move into my town!

Ah, his plot finally decided to show up! I had to log into my mayor account the following day my old villager left and then TT forward with a new character
