Villager plot placements

I'm currently plot resetting for Marshal into a very specific place, but it's relatively close to my Town Plaza. After attempting to reset for an hour, Marshal's plot landed one row off from his assigned place. In case I plot for days without knowing it, will I be able to actually fit his house into the space in the picture below?

The horizontal row where the character is standing on is where his house should be. I was planning to surround his house with white pansies and another white flower, and if you can spot the red pansy (behind the two trees), that's where the Town Plaza's concrete part is.

I only ask this because his house kept spawning one row off, and I'm beginning to have a suspicion that it's impossible for his plot to show up where I originally wanted ;^'

Hmmm... I am not sure. The plaza is quite tough with plots and projects....specially the edges.

One of my villagers is placed 2 spaces away from the plaza, while one of my players' houses is here.

I think its fine where your placing him? But its very hard to tell from the trees how many spaces away it is... I hope that helps.

I'm guessing that it can be plotted there. I just don't have the luck to make him go into that exact spot :c
His house is supposed to be inside of the white pansies, and without any bushes/trees, I'm pretty sure that he can place his house there...that, and since the least amount of space between the Town Plaza and a house is 2?

You can try to place a player house there to test if villagers can plot in a specific spot (without saving of course). Good luck!

Sadly, I can't do that since I got other villager houses there ;-;

Okay, I got a new pic of the Plaza! Thank god I placed extra tools on the beach Q_Q

Hope this gives a better indication.
His house is supposed to go inside of the white pansies.
The holes that I dug is the back of his house, furthest from his door (if that makes sense)

It should definitely be enough space! In my second town, Caroline is like two-three spaces away from my town plaza, so it should work c:

His house is 2 spaces diagonally from the closest part of the Town Plaza (where the red cosmo is). I'll probably try it out for another hour and then see if there's another alternative
