Usually when a villager plots, it's usually in a OK place. This time a villager has plotted land in a less than desirable place. What do I do?

If you have already started the game as the mayor or any existing character, there's nothing you can do but try to move the new villager out. I must warn you, the newest villager to your town is extremely hard to get rid of if you don't move another one first.

To prevent this from happening again, you can use the plot reset method. The day you know a villager will show up from a random move-in / campsite / online trade, DON'T start the game as any existing character and create a new one. With this new one, walk around town and see where the plot is. If you don't like its placement, hit home and start over again. If you like it, talk to Isabelle, create your house and save.

Plot reset! I do this all the time. To plot reset, never start with your mayor or any other character because the game saves before you start playing.

When you make a new file and run around, the plot should change along with the villager (unless it's a villager you are expecting). Plots may stay at the same place so you might have to do this reset a while. Sometimes you might not find any plot, so you'll have to plot reset again. Once the plot is in an area you like, go through the process of selecting a place for you to have your house built, save, then delete that character and play as normal.

In AC, a new day starts at 6 am JSYK.

Yep, unfortunately there's nothing you can do about this particular villager if you've already logged into an existing profile. But next time you get a villager, try the plot resetting trick mentioned above!

Well I started as my mayor so I'm stuck with Chops now.

Maybe I'll like him. I heard he's a jock so he could play with Rod and Kody..... But the house placement will bug me but I usually get over it....

sometimes you can be saved if you turn off ur ds (not when your town is loading though) but usually not

ive done that with half of my dreamies and i only got saved with one
