If you chose to use the reset trick to control where villager's plots are, how anal would you be with them?
Would you stop when they were in the general area you wanted (e.g. a few squares off of your ideal placement)?
Or would you only stop when they are exactly in the plot you want?
I was worried that I was being too anal with my villager placement and didn't want my village to look TOO planned. So, I decided to let Phoebe plop down wherever, and she ended up in the general area I wanted (1 square down, 1 square to the left of where I ideally wanted her). Spent a good 5 minutes debating whether to use the reset trick or not haha. In the end, I let her stay where she was.
I realize that this method is not exactly how the game was meant to be played, but the exploit is there, and I know a few people use it.
Please comment with stories about when you've used the reset trick!
Or, if you've never used the reset trick, comment with where your worst placement is/what you would do if you could control villager placement as Mayor.
Thank you!
