I have yet to get one and I don’t wanna gift my villagers and make them unoriginal so idk if I’ll be getting any on my own

I don't have any pics for you but, you can gift your villagers fruits and they won't display it! Writing letters should be fine too and talk to your villagers 3 times in a row to increase the likelihood of getting requests!

I'm not going to write much more since it takes away from your thread but it takes quite a while! I've noticed that villagers go in the pattern: nickname > sell items to you > catchphrase change > buy your items/trade items > picture

She’s nicknamed me bought my fish trades me everytime I gift idk what else to do :0

It took me about 3 weeks of nonstop gifting and talking to get my first picture and I just got a picture from Marshal who was my forced move in camper (he's the earliest villager i have left) which means it took over a month to get! Hang in there, you'll get it eventually
