So, when you don't play for a long time or TT forward a long time or whatever, one villager is always gone (not in boxes, the house in gone). I was thinking, what if you advanced the system time by say, a year and created a new character and didn't save until the villager you didn't like was gone, like in plot resetting? Has anyone done this and does it work?
1. The date is May 17th, 2015 and you have 9 villagers you want to keep + Jambette
2. Change the SYSTEM CLOCK date to May 17th, 2016 (or whatever other data you want)
3. Start the game how you would if you were plot resetting (making a temporary alt)
4. Check your map (faster than walking). If a villager you want to keep is gone, reset without saving.
5. Keep doing this until Jambette is gone, then talk to Isabelle, make a house, delete alt, blahblahblah.
6. Change the system date back a year. It should be safe to go in as your mayor (TTing backwards counts as one day), but you can check/save with another new alt if you really want to.
