So I have all the villagers I want in my town and I've been fastforwarding day-by-day trying to get PWPs. I'm very careful and talk to each villager at least 2-3 times. It's now a holiday in my game (Bunny Day, April 5th) and as I walked around town, I noticed that one of my villagers mentioned that Kid Cat was thinking about moving. As far as I'm aware - I can't Kid Cat to ping me because it is a holiday in my game but I'm also afraid of advancing the day in fear that Kid Cat might move... or... is it not possible for a villager to move out on a day after a holiday?

Any sort of response would be appreciated!

I don't know how many days since you last stopped a villager from moving, but if it's less than 5 then you're safe. If it's more than five, I would go to DS settings, move the date forward a day, then run to Kid Cat's house on a new character and see if he's in boxes. If he isn't then great, exit and go back to regular settings and then move the day forward on your mayor.

If he IS in boxes, I'm not exactly sure what can be done. Maybe you should keep trying to get him to ping? (Talk, save&exit, walk in front of him and repeat until ping?)

hmm as the previous post has mentioned, I dont know how many days it has been since kit cat wants to leave so tt-ing a day forward can be dangerous if you're already on Day 5. I dont know if this would work on Bunny Day but when it's fish/bug tourney, I just tt to 9pm then the ceremony is over and villagers won't talk about the event anymore. maybe tt to late night and see if he pings you?
for villagers to ping me, all I do is talk to them many times (I talk to them until they ask me to go away when it's a villager I hardly talk to), save and quit, then go back into the game and stand in front of the villager. this always works for me :)

Thank you both for the responses and providing me more insight! I couldn't recall if a villager asked to move out within the last 5ish days, but fortunately, I was able to prevent him from moving out ^^.

Yay! Glad he didn't leave. For future reference, here's another thing I've heard, which worked for me though it could have been a fluke: if you hear from another villager that someone's thinking of moving and that someone doesn't ping you, write them a letter (I attached a present for good measure). The next day, the villager pinged me to say they'd been thinking of moving out but had decided they wanted to stay. This seems to have worked on a couple of occasions, but again, it could be a total fluke. Nonetheless, if you find yourself in a similar position again, it doesn't hurt to have one more thing to try!

ncie! im glad to hear :) I also have Kid Cat in my town for very long time because I needed a jock and thought he was the cutest looking one. I always thought I would let him go some day, but now....... hmmm I dont think it's that easy anymore esp he's wearing the shirt I designed haha hes too adorable <3

have you seen the AC movie by any chance? the shirt hes wearing is inspired by one of the Sally's (I think her name is Margie in the US version) design  Im not too good at designing but hes the only one wearing it and I love him even more for that lol
