Villager Location Help

I need some help deciding where I should place my villagers. My other town is more organic and I did not really plan placements but I want to try and plan this one a little more.

Here is my current map:


And here is my idea for paths in this town:

I might keep Buck and I am going to scan Epona to replace Rocket near the farmer house. And I have an area for a house near the campsite. I might also keep Skye, her's is the house on the other side of the farmer.
I might make part of the peninsula near the waterfall an orchard. And infront of the townhall is a fountain.

Villagers I might want:
Sterling, Knox, Drago/Tucker, Klaus, Phoebe, Nan/Eunice, Brofinna/Freya

Suggestions on where I should plan my other villagers to go?

honestly i think anywhere along the paths are good spots. to the right of the farmer, along the paths anywhere on the top. you'll probably figure out your preferences once you get stuff planted, place pwps, develop off-path shortcuts, etc.

Maybe one could go about 5 o'clock of the blacksmith and 2 o'clock of the station?

Maybe place them near the plaza above the river and some near the blacksmith and retail. So that you got a nice village with shops and such.
As for Knox and Sterling, maybe place them near the bridges closest to the castle for them to "guard".
Or have one guard the village and one guard the castle.
I'm personally not too sure how much a police station would fit but if you decide for Knox and Sterling to be close to the castle you can have the police station near the village
