So apparently there's a bug where if you invite a campsite villager and they kick someone out the same day someone was already in boxes, the original villager that was already in boxes will just stay in boxes and not actually leave until you either kick them out with an amiibo villager or get someone to come invite them
I'm having this issue with Truffles. She had asked to move on Sunday, Monday she was in boxes and Audie was at the campsite, I asked Audie to move in and she kicked out Beau, a friend of mine wanted Beau so I had them come over to invite him. Truffles still wasn't gone the next day but I assumed maybe two villagers just couldn't leave the same day or something, so I waited until today. She's still in boxes. I looked it up and apparently its a bug.
Btw, i dont have any amiibos, so if anyone wants Truffles and has an open spot on their island, she's 100% free.
