I know this my fault, but after Melba moved in from my campsite, I time travelled because I got super impatient! She was replacing Renée and instead moved into her house. Is there any way I can get her to live in her regular house?

Unfortunately, there's no way to fix the glitch without having Melba move out and inviting her again. The only hope is having a patch somehow fix the glitch, and I don't know how feasible or likely that is.

This glitch occurs when you skip the "plot sold" day, either by TTing backwards, TTing forwards and skipping the day, or just playing naturally but also not loading the save file on that day. So if you want to TT, you have to go one day at a time and load and save the file for each day.

Also unfortunately, she won't be in the campsite again. I don't TT, so I don't have experience with that, but I'm going off the info in this doc, and I imagine that if you could do this, it would be widely known.

If you're set on having Melba, maybe you could find someone to hold her temporarily, and then you could adopt her back?
