Villager house interior glitch?

Idk if this has been addressed already but I’ve recently noticed an annoying interior glitch???

I went in Sherb’s house yesterday and saw he had two of the same plant displayed in his house after my mom had gifted him one.

We were both super confused, so I gave him a butterfly that was sitting in my invo to see if he’d switch out one of the plants. When I checked his house today, one of the plants was now replaced by TWO of the same butterfly stacked on top of one another???

Anyone know why this is happening? It looks so ridiculous.

It's a glitch that happens sometimes... there's a theory that it happens if you time travel backwards after giving a gift.

Yeah I’ve seen this once or twice in my town as well. Must be a bug
