Villager House Designs

Do some villagers have the same house designs? (exterior wise) Or are all of the houses supposed to be unique to each other? I just moved Beau into my island and wanted to move his house next to Molly’s until I realized they both have the exact same log house design! I couldn’t tell if this was a glitch or if that’s just how it is! Please help! I’m so curious! haha

It would be really cool if someone came up with a list of all the villagers and their houses! Maybe I’ll work on it if it’s not already out there! Perhaps it’ll help with some island layout planning!

UPON TRIPLE CHECKING IN MY GAME, the DOORS of Molly and Beau’s houses are slightly different hahaha but everything else is practically the exact same

i've used this site (searchable, clear, still in progress tho) for ages! they had new leaf and now are working on new horizons, and may have some of the ones that the doc is missing if you are still looking for ones!

i totally agree, though. i thoroughly research all potential villagers and their houses before bringing them into my island because i just cannot stand when someone doesn't match the vibe, or they look too similar sdkfhbnkdjs. it's frustrating! i wish you could customize their exteriors, or at the least that there were some more options. there seems to be very little zen/terracotta w the wood extruding houses? and those are my favorites! laughs, of course
