Lionel always asks me to bring other villagers to his house. He is my least favorite character, but I've realized that he won't leave unless i befriend him and then ignore him. Anyways everyone in my town thinks he's really creepy. As soon as they get into his home he starts trying to flirt with the female villagers and they quickly shut him down and make a lame excuse to leave. As soon as the villager and i leave, Lionel leaves his house even though he told me that he couldn't leave his house because....... Also, he's only had me invite female villagers >.<

Dude, Lionel's creep factor is the best. Something about an elderly lion flirting with everybody and their dog just made be laugh so hard when I had him. I miss that old sleaze sometimes.
So my wolf skye was wandering around, and as usual i talk to most of my villagers. I talked to her and she wanted a hammerhead shark, and because i was already going to the island i said yes because skye is awesome. I got two hammerhead sharks in about 3 hours. I went back to her and she was fishing. I had to wait about 10 minutes before she stopped. I gave her a shark and she gave me a pear. A pear is my native fruit... the next day i talked to skye she wanted me to get her a really rare bug. Again, i complied. She then the next day tried selling me the insect. For like 5k bells. I have never hated skye so much then in that moment.
I've had a single instance out of over 9000 where I actually got a unique item. I was almost on the floor and sorta wish I took a screencap of it. All I remember is it was the first capsule I ever buried for Snake, and he'd asked me to bury it maybe 3 days after he moved in. Guy really cuts to the chase...
I think that gives my Raven Pole story a -very- good run for its money because that is some legitimate stupidity right there...Voluptua Sneezelips said:

One time one of my villagers was trading me something for something, and I didn't look at the dialogue when they were saying what they wanted and what they'd give, so I just said yes cuz I liked them and I ended up trading my SHARK for A SHIRT.

Its not necessarily an angry story but it is a sad one. So my favorite villager in my town was Ricky the cranky squirrel. I loved him so much but i stopped playing new leaf for a few days. When i went back into the game, i found out that he moved out of my town. I was devastated. Then a new villager moves in to the exact same spot that Ricky was in. When i went to greet this new villager, i see that it is Static the cranky squirrel. Not only is it another squirrel, but its cranky just like Ricky and in the exact same spot that he was in. It was just too soon. I was still not over the fact that Ricky was gone but Static of all people had to show up and rub it in my face. Every time i see Static, i see Ricky and the mistake i made when i didn't play new leaf for a week. I even accidentally call Static by Ricky's name. They are just too similar. But no one can replace my Ricky.

Quillson moved into town. If that isn't bad enough, he decided to plant his house right in the middle of my forest and I didn't even see his house before it was too late so I couldn't do the reset trick.

One time Roald said he wanted new furniture. I gave him a patchwork dresser. Three days later he announced he was giving me a patchwork dresser because he knew I was really into that kind of thing and not to worry about paying him back because one day he'd want something of mine. So to summarise, Roald returned a gift I gave him and expects to be able to take anything he wants from me in future.
I had real trouble with a tea set when I started. Baabara decided she didn't want it and gave it to me. I didn't want it so I put it in Re-Tail where it was bought by Bettina. A week later she gave it to me. I sold it directly to Reese in an attempt to dispose of it, but two days later Roald gave me one as a reward anyway. For some reason my villagers were convinced I should have a tea set.
For sheer rage, I don't think anything will beat the time Punchy asked if I wanted to swap my Golden Stag for his common floor. It wasn't the deal which enraged me as I turned it down, but the fact Punchy looked shocked and said I was "weird" for "not wanting to take such a great deal."

I had Dizzy move in from a random streetpass. On half of my path, mind you. I then had Elmer from my brother's town move in. Elmer moved on the edge of my path meaning one tile will be gone.

I gave Grizzly gold roses for his bday that just passed. I get that the villagers don't particularly like hybrids/flowers, but I've given them to villagers in the past and they've put them and kept them in their houses for a while. I gave Diana pink roses once and she kept them in her house for months

back when i still sold furniture at retail (i only sell gems now), whenever a villager bought something i'd put up i'd get it back within a couple of days. it was so annoying, so now i barely sell or send them anything anymore lol
