This thread I thought would be interesting: Have any of the villager homes - both interior and exterior attribute - inspired the way you decorate your home? If so, which ones, and how did their home inspire you?

For me, Jacques's home had this neat D.J. showroom with the sleek series that was really cool, and it made me want to make the back room in my house a cozy Jazz music room with the same set.

Also, Carmen's room was also quite neat: It was a mono-Alpine furniture setup, and in the background was K.K. Technopop and a gyroid singing to the beat. Even though it was a more futuristic tune than the furniture, it somehow added a nice personality to the house, and I now also play the tune with a gyroid in my blue polka dot room.

Stitches inspired my play room. It features a sandbox, loads of toys against the wall. And some Fueki pieces such as the stereo.

I really wanted to have my own cafe and a flower shop but not until I saw Ellie and Ursala's interior and have gotten their RV stuff that really inspired me to finally make them. Both rooms are in my museum though.

Axel inspired my game room (I bought his Foosball table and tennis table), Rodeo inspired my Space room (Rockets, galaxy walls, etc.) And Poppy inspired my library! :p

For my main town and Hikari's house in Flora: All the villagers that have a Japanese style room, even Sheldon's house is Japanese style the outside of it just isn't.

I also like the inside of Merengue's house, even though I don't like her.

I don't recall any villagers inspiring my rooms. I think I just came up with the room ideas myself (bar the mermaid room which is obviously a set already).
