Apart from cycling, is there another quick way to move a certain villager out? I have two dreamies on here waiting for me, and I wont be able to hold one of them because I have a certain villager in my town that I need to get rid of. Or do I just have to simply wait until they ping me to leave?
umm....... so you just really want a certain villager out right?
well what i do is i TT three days forward and check if someone wants to move out. if the villager im targeting doesn't ping me or if there aren't rumors that that certain villager plans on leaving, i just stop the villager who's planning to move out and repeat the process until the targeted villager finally wants to move out....
... eheh sorry if it sounds confusing... im really bad at explaining things T__T
ohhhh so you're not a constant time traveler? hmm.. well as far as I know, TTing backwards is only considered a day, no matter how much days you actually TT back.... so I guess not..? but still check the move out rumors just to be sure
every villager will talk to you about rumors, although it will take a few times before they'll talk about it. here's the list of rumors that villagers will mention when no one plans on moving out
but be careful though, sometimes the one planning to move out will also mention that type of rumor, so to be safe, talk to 2-3 villagers to check if someone's planning to move out

oh and the rumors about someone moving away usually go like "I've heard that example villager is planning to move out.. blah blah" eheheh don't worry, you won't miss it since it would be obvious if what they're talking about is a villager planning to move out
