Villager Help!

I was just wondering... How important do you think having all/most of the villager types is? My current villagers are beau, lolly, punchy, maple, zucker, marshal, coco, rosie, marina. Most of those are normal/lazy, but they're all my dreamies and I love them!

Should I keep them, or should I swap some of them out? [Maybe Zucker for Diana, Punchy for Apollo? I also have to choose an uchi and a jock.... ;;]

Can anyone recommend good uchi/jocks, or does anyone have Apollo in their dream town that I could visit? Thank you!

It really depends on if you care about getting the PWP projects suggested by the personalities you're missing.
If you don't care the I see no need to change them.

I don't particularly care for the PWP's suggested by jocks so my first town doesn't have one. I have 3 normals and two lazies in that town.
In my second I have one of each personality, but 3 normals.

Uchis have the best PWP to me personally. It just depends what the plans for your town are. ^_^

My favorite jock is Genji <3
As for Uchi.. Personal preference would be: Muffy, Hazel, Mira, Deirdre, Katt, and pashmina

I personally think it's extremely important to get the highest quality of enjoyment out of this game. If you're after 10 villagers anyways than you're already going to have duplicate personalities so it's best to keep that at a minimum. Since the game is programmed the way it is, all the same dialogue is within each personality so having multiple of each would just be really boring to a lot of ppl. Of course everyone is different and if all your dreamies are 1 or 2 personalities then go for it

It just depends how important it is to you, it's all about preference. I would say tho that it's more important to choose villagers you want the most rather than limiting yourself based on personalities but it's up to you

I keep a one or two of every type. I have: Fang,Coco,Fauna,Julian,Marshal,Zucker,Deirdre,Kid Cat and Flora to keep it interesting.

having two or more of the same personality just bores me. i like having variety in my village. it's even worse now since almost all villagers of the same personality act like the same person. i don't really like any of the jocks except genji. as for uchis, the only one i know of that looks decent is phoebe.

I think it's a personal thing...really depends on what you specifically want PWP wise.
So it may be important in the beginning till you get all the pwps you want. It can also be nice just for differences in dialogue.

Personally I don't really care for smugs...I don't have one and doubt I ever will in my main town.
I currently have 3 crankys, 2 lazies, 1 jock, 1 peppy, 1 uchi, 1 normal, and 1 snooty.

Depends on if you want the PWPs from them. I need PWPs from peppy and normal villagers, so I'm going to wait until I get all of those and then let them go. Having one of each personality type will give you more variety, but I think it's most important to have villagers you like. I don't like peppy villagers and I'm not super fond of normal ones either, and since I rarely talked to them anyway I'd rather have villagers I will talk to.
