Villager fleas?!

Okay, is it me or does it feel like I'm constantly snatching fleas off my villagers?! WTH ;-;

It seems to be happening to my villagers a lot more lately, too. It might just be because it's summer? But I'm not sure.

It's currently spring for me, but in the beginning of March is where it was plentiful. After that there wasn't much. But I'm sure it's because it's summer, I don't know, some months are just more flea-infested than others.

right now it's been raining almost everyday and that plus the villagers complaining about the heat must bring on tons of fleas!

I believe it's a summer thing, but it's nothing to be worried about. I just catch 'em and release them into the ponds. lol
But sometimes my villagers want to buy them from me, which makes me wonder what nefarious plans they have in store.

It's April in my Weeding town and it took 10 days for a new player to finally get one from a villager. There was a lot of chores and letter writing before Rodney gave one up.

In my other towns it's fleas all the time.
