Villager Emotions

I just realised while reading another thread, that the villagers don't really walk around emoting the way they used to, unless they get in a fight with another villager.

I really miss seeing villagers have a conversation and then walk off with all kinds of emotions, like skipping around and singing, maybe a bit sad, or confused.

Anybody else miss this feature? I know animals have more actual activities they do now which is nice but I kinda miss this too.

hmm, i think i like the conversations they have more in this game tho so i never noticed it tbh.

They only walk away and do an emotion if you don't listen to the conversation, which is ridiculous. It's just another way for them to dumb down the dialogue.

I thought they only did the angry emotions when that happened? Do they do others too? I don't get why they don't do it after you listen to them any more

Yeah, I've seen them come away singing/humming. Like I've seen Ursala do it and I'd go up to her and she'd say stuff like "I'm really into this band and Clay likes it too!" or there was one time Clay told me Billy made him shrimp gumbo, yeah

I didn't realise this, well I'm glad it's still there to some capacity at least would be nice if we could hear the conversations that makes them emote
