My dear Agent S is thinking of someone who visited my island the other day. My Genji did the same thing and then wanted to move soon after ward and I’ve been fighting to keep him.
So i was wondering if anyone knows the island Shanghai-La And the photo of their name ended up being blurry but I was wondering if they would want him or some pointers on how to keep their villagers in their island

Villagers will make comments about recent visitors no matter what, I would worry about it. On the same note asking to move is also completely randomized for when/who leaves so if you want them to stay just keep saying ‘no’ to them.

Will they always consider moving no matter how long you’ve had them or how much you’ve done for them?

Once you “max out” your friendship with a villager (they give you their photo) they will ask to move more often than your villagers who are newer/you have lower friendship levels with. It’s the game’s way of telling you to move on from them I guess
I’ve maxed out friendship with all my villagers so it’s totally random who asks to leave each time. But none of them are ever leaving my island lol.

Yep pretty much, I wouldn’t take it personally. Besides the fact it’s just in their coding having them move away doesn’t mean they don’t want to be friends, it just means they want a new adventure

as long as you talk to them, they’ll stay. try running by them to make them possibly ping you to ask if they can move. when they do that, you can say no and make them stay. oooooor run around other villagers and they’ll ping you to maybe say that they heard someone else is thinking of moving!
