Villager/Dreamie Advice

I'd love some advice on what villagers I could aim to get? I'm making a forest themed town with dirt paths and lots of trees, bushes, flowers etc. and would love for the villagers to fit in with this. They would ideally be natural looking and possibly have a house exterior that would fit into my town as well. So far I'm thinking of Beau, Molly and Maple. I like most deers, Fauna and such but I don't want a whole town of them, I'd prefer a variety.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Villagers I'm considering:
Beau (deer), Maple (cub), Molly (duck), Fauna (deer), Erik (deer), Zell (deer), Maddie (dog), Hazel (squirrel), Felyne (cat), Lolly (cat), Gabi (rabbit)

peppy: wendy, dotty, carmen
snooty: blaire, purrl, ankha(?)
uchi: dierdre, shari (i know shes a monkey but her colour scheme fits in)
lazy: beau, anchovy, elmer, erik, pudge, zucker(?)
cranky: butch, cheif
jock: drift, genji(?), sparro, teddy
smug: kyle, shep, lopez(?), zell

as far as things go, idk about house exteriors honestly, but maybe look into forest type villagers: aka

squirrels, deer, elk, bears, cubs, wolves, and maybe even some birds? thats really my best advice. maybe check the wiki (clicky) here for villagers you like that fit some of these animals?

I'd definitely go with Grizzly for a forest town. Others I'd recommend are Fauna, Teddy, Poncho, Cally, Sally, Pecan, Kyle, Chief, Deirdre, Robin, Henry, Jay, or Anchovy.

So I've managed to narrow it down... and only keep 2 deer. I've managed to get one of every personality I think and a good range of animals (found in a forest type place I hope). Could someone maybe just check through my list and offer any alternatives or just simple opinions maybe?

Erik - Lazy - Deer
Maple - Normal - Cub
Molly - Normal - Duck
Hazel - Uchi - Squirrel
Gabi - Peppy - Rabbit (not 100% but wanted a peppy)
Zell - Smug - Deer
Teddy - Jock - Bear

I think henry would be a good smug, he's earthy colours and zell's an antelope which mostly live in savannahs so...
kyle would be good too, he looks like some hobo wolf lol

for peppies I think bunnie would be cute too!
