Villager dilemma

I'm sure many of us have been there so here it goes:

I have on my Island and I was thinking of keeping forever but I've also got drawn to Ellie. I have both their amiibos so could easily swap them over but I'm just not sure.
I also. love Rilla, Chai and Peggy but I really that if I were to keep all I'd have to sacrifice Sherb who's got no Amiibo.
My dreams of the Island expanding and allowing for more villagers don't really seem to go. anywhere so I'm not sure what to do

I recommend if you have villagers you love, but also have their amiibo cards, but at the same time want to experience another villager you think you may like... give that new villager a shot. You can always go back to the amiibo'ed villagers if you decide they aren't for your island.

Also if you really like Sherb, keep him, as he will be a slight pain to replace. If you think you could replace Sherb with someone else and not regret it, then give that a shot. He does go well with your villager list though imo

If you think you can live without them I say bring in the new villager.
New villagers make the island so much more fun.

Like I had Carmen and I loved her. I will bring her back when I'm done with the game as part of my final line up, but for now, I would rather meet new villagers than have the same ones forever.

But keep sherb. You cant easily get him back.

Sherb is difficult to get and expensive to buy from others so I’d also suggest not to kick him out if you just wanna try out for some new villagers. Also, Sherb is a lazy, whereas Ellie, Rilla, Chai, and Peggy I believe are all normals. Not sure how much you care about personalities, but personally I like to keep the personalities balanced on my island (also to get all the reactions).

You have a lot of TBT. You could always get Sherb back if someone lists him later in the new neighbor subforum for TBT. I've had Raymond on my islands 3 different times and he's pretty rare. And I've had Sherb, Judy, and Audie at least twice each. If you have IGB, NMT, or TBT, it's not that hard.

You can always get an Amiibo villager back later, although they won't remember you (unless you move them to a friend's island and then back). So, you have some options. What I do is try to keep a balance of beloved villagers and new ones cycling though.

I loved Ellie and her perfect, relaxing house. She was fun to visit. I highly recommend her.
