Hey there all!
I have a bit of a problem with my game. I last played it...Thursday, I think? There were eight villagers, which I believe means none will move out. Fine, no problem, I'll check up on it in a couple of days.
Well, I checked today. According to the map, there's a new villager. Okay, time to check up on everyone in case a villager wants to move away. Check up, and sure enough, Sheldon wants to move away. Not five days from now, but the first of next month.
However, when I check through my town history by sitting at the tree, it claims that the new villager moved in today (30th October).
I'm a bit confused here. My guess is that Isabelle counts move-in day as the day the new villager arrives, but doesn't walk around town. The tree counts move-in day as the day the new villager walks around town.
In that case, I guess the house would have been built on the 28th, but I forgot to check that day. The house is also stuffed into a distant corner that I don't always check.
Or maybe Sheldon is bad at math. I told him to stay, by the way. He's one of my original townies from 2014 and I want to keep him.
