That requires patience, the most I've ever tried was 2 hours >.<
I've been resetting for Flurry's plot for around 15 minutes and she picked a good spot :3

Well i barely do anything in my town other than landscape and talk to villagers. Plus i have 2 weeks ahead of me with no school, so eh i guess why not? :3

I hope all my keepers move into good spots! A couple I like moved into meh spots by either being there from the beginning, or by me forgetting to reset the plots and load up the mayor.

On the day you are expecting a new villager, you don't click continue, you make a new resident instead. You look around for a house plot, and if you like the neighbor/house placement, you build a house and delete the character afterwards. If you don't like the house placement, just turn the game off and try again, because unless you build your own house, the game doesn't save.
