Villager buying a shirt from me?

Apollo just pinged me and said his heart was set on owning my "western shirt." If I let him buy it from me, will he wear it or put it in his room? I don't mind if he wears it, but I really don't want him filling his room with furniture and clothing that don't match his theme.

Sometimes they will put it on. Sometimes they will put it in their room. I have had both happen to me

That's hard to say. They usually won't wear clothing they receive, in my experience villagers almost always put them in their houses.

most of the time they put it in their houses and think its a nice display. but wolfgang put on the letter jacket right after i sold it to him.
