Villager boxes question

So hopefully I word this correctly lol. So I have a starter villager (1 of the 2 villagers the game starts you with) that decided she wants to move off my island. Today she is in boxes, tomorrow she is gone.
You know how the starter villagers have random weird starter furniture in their house, and not their true villager furniture?
I wonder if I take her out of boxes and decide to have her stay, if her house will look the way it did with the starter furniture, or her true villager furniture?
This is probably such a weird question but i’m so curious haha

Oh I actually have no idea. I remember previous AC games I thought you could talk them out of moving away. Idk am I imagining this? Loool

You could talk them out of moving away here too - it's when they first bring it up and you can say something along the lines of, "No, stay!" or, "Good luck moving!". If you pick the second option, they're in boxes and moving, and there's nothing that can be changed about that at that point.
