perhaps most of us who played from the beginning got our top ten villagers and were thinking of sticking with them - which is what happened to me - but i love toby (longtime, childhood keropi feels) and felyne, & it kinda feels like i'm betraying my original ten animals, haha.

how are some of you dealing with the new cuties? i wish we got one more spot or so instead of having to boot out animals we worked really hard for, but with the cards, i suppose anything is just an easy change now (except how difficult placement is...).

how do you guys deal with wanting the newer villagers but not having space for them? i'm still contemplating letting someone go. (;;;˃ᆺ˂)

I'm mostly loyal to my villagers. There are some villagers I'd never give up for any other, but I've already replaced 2 of mine, and will likely replace at least 1 more.

they dont plot on patterns anymore so you can easily guide them into place with patterns

i just get rid of villagers. i get bored with no change.

With the update, I've been trying to obtain all of the cards of those I have lost before and really loved, but like- my town is currently full.
Once I get all of the cards, there will be 8 new villagers moving in. So I can only keep 2 from my current batch of ten, if I want to bring them all in to my town (which I totally do). I think I'm gonna keep Bunnie and Vesta, for sure Bunnie at least. But it's hard to decide because I also currently have Molly, Marshal, Chevre, Filbert, Cole, and a few other cuties I will be sad to see go. T-T

i have no idea how it can be that easy, but i definitely wish it were for me, too. your power level must be insane. XDd

awwww, nooo. marshal is cute, too, haha. i got him on accident from someone else's town, but i ended up keeping him. omg, my town will be full of smugs if i do bring in toby. orz orz orz EVERYONE SEEMS TO HATE THEM, THOUGH, LMAO. i just saw two convos recently where they upset a jock and a cranky, lolololol. my lazy does it a lot, too, though, haha... stitches. (.________.) making problems for everyone. =A=;;;

i had molly, filbert, and cole, too - once up a time - but it wasn't as hard to let them go as thought. though, i did miss filbert for a bit. yeah, it's too hard. i want etoile in my town as well, but i just invite her via rv for now since i've never been big on sheep, but omg - KIK&LALA: another childhood nostaliga #firstworldproblem. orz

I've never had dreamies. I've always wanted to meet and befriend each villager in AC. Yes it's super sad to see them go but if I can I try to get them adopted out to friends so I can still visit them. A girl I wifi with regularly has got my Aurora from over a year ago when she moved out of my town and she still recognises me and that's lovely.

ive already narrowed down my dreamies, sanrio and new rv villagers included! i absolutely love toby and tybalt! lucky for me since i only have a select few dreamies (and filler villagers just because i like their designs and need their personalities) i can fit in 2 brand new villagers just fine! my only problem is if i should replace one of my dreamies for francine to make room for the newcomers : ( tough choices

After spending literally 18 months trying to get villagers sorted for Solstice (I JUST finished the 16 villager cycle and then lost Rodeo when I didn't play for a week) I'm not willing to tweak my villagers list at ALL>

But I just reset my second town so I can have one that's lighthearted and fun, and for that one anything goes. I still only have 6 villagers there too.

wow, that's really neat! i don't know why because it wasn't like this when i first opened up acnl, but i think - over time for whatever reason - i just didn't want to see certain villagers in my town. ^^;;;

wow, that's really cool! i didn't have many dreamies before, too, but trying to cycle out ones as i tried to trade or adopt or just go through my campsite really widened the list of animals i met, and in-game they were much better than i thought. hahaha, maybe i'm just shallow, though, because i tend to go nuts over villagers i think are cute. orz

man, it would just not be good for me to get another town. D: i started micro-playing my bf's, then i had to stop because i spend waaay too much time over every little thing. >n< i don't think i could ever relax in a town since i learned about plot-setting and all that, but i do think the cards are cool so you can possibly back up any animals you really love and may lose on accident. still, another town is really stressful sounding! XD

i think they're really hard to replace, yus. maybe down the road we may get more??? i'm just surprised we got all these new shiny things - but, on the other hand, i think they way nintendo did these updates is a crazy good making stupid money scheme, haha. orz

I find i get quite bored without a change, have to admit I feel sad about letting certain ones go but then I know if they stay I won't really interact with them as much as the newer ones (have to move wolf link & co. in soon and I adore LOZ so they will be my ultimate favourite). Also love the look of Toby, Chelsea and Marty so I will move them in most likely when the cards arrive.
I always console myself with thinking it's easy enough to get them back again should I want to

it is so smart for them to just mash all their popular franchises, lol. like, think of people who would play a game they normally wouldn't via exposure? on the other hand, for people who collect and buy nintendo stuff, it pays off - everyone really wins, except for the part where things are random and hard to find. s(・｀ヘ?・; )ゞ nintendo pls

luckily, i'm picky on the look of villagers, though - so i don't mind only grabbing toby. i have this deep-rooted sanrio/kerropi MIGHTY NEED from childhood that needs to be filled, haha! ( ≧Д≦)（≧▼≦；)
