Villager Appreciation Time!

It seems like there isn't a single thread involving villagers where someone feels the need to mention how much they hate a villager, worse yet when they don't give a reason and only state "I hate ------, s/he's the worst LOL." So how about a thread where we all talk about villagers you cherish love an enjoy, or why a certain villagers rubs you the wrong way (and please not the generic "they're so ugly," I see that way too much and frankly I never found it to be a good reason to slander that villager around people who actually enjoy them).

If possible I want this thread to stay polite and free of arguments. Sure I understand if you disagree with someone, but if you feel what you have to say is rude, please keep it yo yourself, thanks. And let's have some variety! I know there's more than just Marshal lovers out there!

Note: It's okay if you wish to talk about Marshal (I picked him to give an example) or anyone, please just don't turn this into a thread where everyone talks about how much they love/dislike them if you can, thanks!

Hopper is my all time favorite! He has the best personality, Cranky! Plus an awesome design.
Hans is a freaking Yeti! I LOVE Cryptids.
Mira. As a total Sailor Moon fanboy this villager has a TON of appeal to me.

Special mention goes to Clay, Julian, Tucker, Drago, and all the lions and hippos (except Harry)....

As for bad villagers, if I say ANYTHING about Bob and Marshal people will try to kill me.

Oh no worries you didn't copy ^.^ I shift my favorites from time to time, Merry/ Skye were in the top spot recently..

My favorite villager right now is probably Marshal (don't hurt me)

I also love Diana for being an awesome deer rebel by plotting her house right in front of my town hall X.X, and Merry and Skye was being originals and being amazing.

Skye, Julian, Ankha, and Hopper are all really good ones in my book

Crankies are so fun, they're like that serious uncle that looks kind of tough but is a total goofball. Mira is adorable, definitely one of my favorite uchis. Especially since she's still a superhero but isn't in the actual superhero villager group. She just does her own thing.

And I would hope that people would be polite enough here to not go insane for you dislike a villager, granted a decent or fair explanation would be appreciated.

To be honest I freaked out when I saw her house, but five minutes later I imagined her wearing a leather jacket and sunglasses on a motorcycle while Isabelle and I stared at her....and I loved it!

Gaston will forever be a part of my Animal Crossing experience. His ramshackle room, his crazy shirts, his CD Player playing KK Dirge every time I visit- he's so perfectly strange, and I really, really just took to him. I send him crazy furniture and I actually go looking for things that are his style / favorite color.

I don't know. I always celebrate weirdness as long as no one's hurting anyone or being inappropriate, and he's just like- perfectly okay with himself no matter what. I dig it. I want to be a Cranky when I grow up, ferreal.

Maple and skye

Maple was my first five and from the moment i saw her i knew she'd be my ultiment favorite villager. Her design isnt anything considered "special' its just cute and plain and her being normal just brings it out more and its a simple kind of cuteness.
And whenever i talk to Maple she just seems like an actual friend to me than a normal villager.

Skye was my second favorite, she too was a normal and me loving normals made her all the more perfect, I saw her in a dream town and my first thought was "YOURESOCUTEIMUSTHAVEYOU." and from there on i set out all over the wiki and camp resetting to get her.
She was more than expected when i got her I literally loved this villager and she just felt meant to live in my town i enjoyed seeing maple and her conversate espically and join in X3

Sydney and Olivia are my all time favorites.

Sydney is my number one, because she was my best friend in the GC version and just looks absolutely adorable. Her ears, nose, house, expressions.. I love everything about her.

Olivia just looks stunning. That's why I originally really wanted her. But she also says the funniest things and her house looks awesome. I know all snooties have the same dialogue but Olivia has said stuff that none of my other snooties have ever said, so that just makes me like her even more.
