Villager Amiibo Cards?

So I want to invite Tiffany into my town via Amiibo card. I'm thinking of putting her in the same place as another villager but does anyone know if her house will go in the same plot/spot?

From what I've seen, if you use an amiibo card to kick someone out and move them in, they tend to have a preference to move into the spot that the villager you just kicked out was. But they can move anywhere like anyone else.

Plot resetting helps.

Yep, I believe that the new villager always automatically replaces the old one in terms of house placement! That’s always been the case in my experience anyway c:

9 out of 10 times they will indeed move into the exact same spot. But just because there's that 1/10th of a chance they won't, I'd advise you to plot reset

I think they like to live in the same spot but there is no guarantee so definitely do some plot resetting. It might save you a lot of hassle in the long run.
