For number 2 take out radio, haha.

Number 6, since you play Nintendo games primarily you are probably used to hearing a character's name be the name of that franchise of games. In many games not on Nintendo consoles this is not the norm.

I suggest saying something like, "Have you heard of these games?" And listing general names, such as Halo, Guitar Hero, Dance Dance Revolution, Mario, The Legend of Zelda, etc. Just don't use the word "franchise", as many don't know what that is, at least when relating to video games.
