Very Specific Online Question.

Googling doesn't really help, so I come here hoping anyone might have the knowledge. So, say, two people are playing locally on one island, but we also have far away friends we want to play with. Does anyone have any idea if two people, on one switch, can visit another person's island online? And can you have people visit yourself online while having another player around locally?

That's a good question! Unfortunately, the reason we probably don't have answers yet is because no one can play online until the official game release date (that's what I was told).

I'm not sure if you can combine local and online play; I can test it later but I wont have the game until midnight EST
