Very Confused About Deleting Profiles

I have two profiles on my island. My main one is connected to an Nintendo Account. Where as the second is a local profile.

I used my second local profile to see what I could do but I regret doing a second profile because I have no space for another house.

I want to safely remove my second local profile, without it causing me to lose my main profile's progress or the island.

If I was to launch the game with my second local profile and go through the process of deleting it's data through Tom Nook. Will that cause me to lose my main profile's progress and the island or won't that affect it?

Deleting The second character will not have any affect on the town or the main character. It would be as if they never existed. Just remember to empty the house and storage if you don’t want to lose their items.

Only deleting the main character will cause you to lose your town.

Yeah drop all their crap on them, in their house, and all the bells in their bank. Otherwise you'll lose it all.
