First post. Been playing ACNL for about 9 months now. Didn't think I'd like it, but haven't put it down ever since I started. I'm sure I'll have many questions & posts along the rest of the way, but my ultimate goal is to find members to trade with to fill up my catalog so I can earn that gold badge! Seems tedious, I'm not sure how hard it is to do or how many people do it, but should also be fun to try. Hopefully it's not impossible!
I also just started collecting the amiibo cards when I heard about the ACNL update that's coming. I hope to participate in some trades for duplicates, cause I have a lot! Only working on series 1 now (I know I'm behind).
Thank you guys! I'll be participating a lot more once I get this CAST off my hand/arm. I have a broken bone in the back of my hand so I have a cast, and only my pointer & thumb are exposed on my right hand. It's a nightmare to type... lol
Anyways, I'm curious if anybody else has tried for the gold catalog badge. It seems like the hardest/most tedious gold badge to get, since there are so many un-orderables. I've also heard it's impossible without participating in time travel. Anybody else try to do this yet??
I'll say it's expensive, but fun. If you do, get one of those albums to put them in. They look way cooler & it's a great place to store them. They made one for each series, and they're very cool. Oddly, the albums were only made in Europe, but you can still find them on Amazon or eBay if you're in the U.S. like I am.
