I just updated my Japanese copy this morning, but I haven't seen anything different so far. All I know is that they fixed some glitches.

Maybe it lets you use the new Amiibo cards when you ask Harvey about wifi then he says do you wanna scan a card or whatever, I don't know, I don't think America has the update yet which is where I am.

i've heard that they patched some glitches/bugs but i've also heard villagers are moving out more, i just think ill stick with my current version
