I am so sick and tired of trying to move Zucker out. I've TT'd a total of 5 ingame months now, and he hasn't had one thought bubble. Zucker is the last villager I want moving out so I can move in Hopper. This is getting so stupid. What am I doing wrong? Why is he being so stubborn? Have any of you guys had villagers that seemingly refuse to move out?

I really don't want to spend money on an amiibo card, just to move out one villager.

Yes it's like THE ONE VILLAGER I need to move out will stay put. I drop trash by their house, ignore them, etc. and they're just running around happy all the time... I feel your pain. I'd spend HOURS doing this.

your zucker is my simon ergh--it's like every single villager wants to move out except HIM (keep in mind, i talk to my other villagers consistently and frequently every day) what is his logic

Yeah eventually I got to a point where I had to start thinking about who else I’d be ok with letting go when moving villagers.

Is Zucker the tenth villager? I find 10th move in impossible to move out. So if he is the tent, kick someone out before him so he is no longer tenth.

With the campsite method, it can works. I've moved Raymond out through the campsite, he was the last villager.

He is the 10th villager, I think I saw somewhere about 10th villagers being difficult to kick out. I've been praying that Hopper would appear in the campsite as I've been TTing. I really don't want to kick one of my favourites out, but if I need to, I'll have to figure something out to get them back

My thenth villager has asked to move out several times, so it's not impossible. Did you try the "though bubble transfer method" ? (As in "ignoring the villager with the thought bubble until the next day when it should transfer to another villager") If that's the method you're using and he still didn't get a thought bubble then I really don't know, terrible RNG I guess ? :/ Good luck !

I've been following this guide which has helped move all of my villagers out in hours, so it confused me when it suddenly stopped working/became nearly impossible to move out the last villager

Yeah, that's what I was referring to. Well it's really weird that it's not working for you, I let the bubble transfer from villager to villager everyday, and I've had my last move-in with the thought bubble once or twice over the past two weeks. I hope you'll manage to get Zucker out somehow !

I've read so many people mention their experiences of successfully moving out the most recent move-in (some people mentioned even in the next game day that villager had a bubble), but I have yet to experience it myself.

This suck for you. Many of us can sympathize as we've been there. I hope you are able to figure it out and enjoy Hopper (one of my favorite villagers, by the way!).

In my experience, it's always the one you actually want to leave that never leaves /s (but seriously it takes forever to get that one villager to ping and it hurts :')

Being serious though, I hate kicking villagers out in this game and it's even harder getting the 10th move-in to leave. I've definitely had my 10th ask to leave, but maybe once when everyone else asks multiple times. It's truly random.

That doesn't actually do anything.
Villager move-outs are random so ignoring them/putting trash outside their house doesn't work.

I think it's just bad RNG. Campsite method might be better and faster to get Zucker to move out.

agreed that its random, by 10th move in pinged me before older villagers did so it wasn't particularly harder than the rest in my case

omg I had the same problem trying to get Zucker out a while back when I had him! Is it just Zucker who is so stubborn to move? It took me like 2 days.

not surprised at all since I noticed it didn’t do anything. Bad advice from a YouTuber I guess

I feel this so much. I spent 3 days nonstop trying to TT Rosie out for my friend. It was hell. I hope Zucker pings to leave soon!

i think i tt'd a year's worth of days trying to fix the villager plot glitch twice (the one that happened in the first patch i think). pretty rough :,)

Yupp...
A lot of YouTuber spew incorrect information without doing any research just because they heard it somewhere or it worked for them with one villager and therefore must be correct.
Some have also said that fencing the villager in will make them move out faster - again, not true.
It's kind of like when I started playing NL and people would say that hitting villagers with nets and being mean to them would make them move... lol.
