Ever played any games like this? Where some of the music is just a variation of the main theme? I'm assuming most of you have if you've played Super Mario Sunshine or Super Mario 64. In Super Mario Sunshine, some of the music is a variation of the Delfino Plaza theme (most, not all). And in Super Mario 64, the Slider theme is a semi-variation of the Bombomb Battlefield Theme (and the Cool Cool Mountain theme a variation of that). Am I the only one that's noticed this?

Yes, Banjo Tooie and Donkey Kong 64 boss themes are modified level themes.

Yes, I love games like this. It really ties the game together well, musically. Twilight Princess is one of my favorite examples.

I've never noticed that in any of those games.... Looks Like I need to hit the Youtube's.

In Donkey Kong 64, the entry area (lobby) for each world has a different variation of the same tune.
