Is there supposed to be anything special happening today?

I know there's a fishing tourney today (which I have no chance of winning btw because as soon as I got there, someone caught a 76 inch tuna :O) but what about valentine's.

I got a chocolate heart from one of my neighbours but that appears to be it, anything else special about today? What about those carnations i've heard about?
