Username price change??

Yeah so I haven't been on TBT in a while and the last time I was here I was sloooowly clawing my way to 1k TBT bells for a name change. When I stopped playing AC, I stopped visiting. Since I've got back into playing (kind of) I wanted to come back to the forum with a new name and such, but... yeah, the price has gone up by 200 TBT bells. Fml. Why was this changed?

I know people will be like "wow post more for bells" but I don't think I can be bothered now. I was happy getting to 1k finally. |:

Basically we agree with the above posters that username changes are generally annoying. It was set at 1k originally to be a very high barrier, but of course it's been 4 years and inflation has happened. 1k bells isn't that big a deal anymore, so it's been raised, and may be raised again in the future.
